Co-founder, CEO and PresidentJim has been working to crack the local Internet nut for the past 15 years, leading product strategies and Internet revenue-generating initiatives for Yahoo’s GeoTargeting group, Yahoo Search Marketing, CarsDirect.com and SBC Interactive Media, publisher of SmartPages.com. Jim authored the geo-targeting strategy for Yahoo Search Marketing, resulting in its acquisition of WhereOnEarth and the establishment of the corporate-wide Y-Geo team. He was granted three patents for increasing geo-relevancy in online content and advertising. Prior to his Internet career, Jim was an engineer at Lockheed’s Skunkworks, where he analyzed the performance of top-secret aircraft. During his first career Jim also competed across the nation is amateur couples swing championships. Jim received his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, specializing in High Tech Entrepreneurship and served as commencement speaker for his 1995 graduating class.
